Ring for Salvation Army Donations<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Kay May and Danko Gulsoy were two of the 25 Dilworthians,
along with spouses and friends, who rang the bells at the Salvation Army
collection kettles at the Park Road Shopping Center. Much of the time it was
cold and rainy. Dilworthians who rang the bells are: Clay Andrews,
Nick Bowen, Howard Castleman, Tom Chaltas, Danko Gulsoy, Brian Hadley,
Dale Harrold, Rosemary Hill, David Hodgkins, Ed King, David Kirkpatrick,
Bob Lyons, Kay May, Jeff Morgart, Ranjit Rawlley, Romelle Scharnberg, Whitney
Simpson, Jonathan Sink, Joe Smith, Jim Stump, Bob Teague, Tony Thompson,
Ret Turner, Evan Webster, and Paul Whitfield. Lee Wensil, chair of the
committee, extended a special thanks to those who worked more than one shift:

He told interesting stories about Past President Jim Whittington, one of the founders
